Terms of Service

What AccordNote is

AccordNote is an insight extraction tool — a Chrome extension and web application that helps you capture notes (AI outputs, ideas, links) and automatically extract structured insights. It stores your data locally on your device and syncs it through your personal Google Drive. We do not operate servers that store your content.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. We use OAuth to access a private app folder in your Google Drive for note sync. We do not access your regular Drive files, emails, or any other Google services.

Your data

You own your data. AccordNote never claims ownership of your notes. Your notes exist in two places: your browser's local storage and a hidden folder in your Google Drive. We have no access to either.

What you can do

  • Save AI conversation outputs for personal use.
  • Edit, delete, export, and import your notes at any time.
  • Revoke AccordNote's access from your Google account settings at any time.

What you should not do

  • Do not use AccordNote to store passwords, financial credentials, or sensitive secrets.
  • Do not redistribute the extension or web app as your own product.

Service availability

AccordNote is provided as-is. We work to keep it running reliably, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Because your data lives on your device and Google Drive (not our servers), service interruptions do not affect your saved notes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as AccordNote evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
